In 1997, the illegal manufacturing and sale of methamphetamine took a devastating toll on the American people, killing countless men, women, and children, sparking a nationwide war against the narcotic. During this time, Chuck Conlosh, a police officer in Orange County, California, successfully wrote, lobbied, and passed legislation that would effectively cripple the preferred method of manufacturing the drug, saving countless lives and forcing an entire illicit industry to radically transform operations and move out of the U.S.
Today, Chuck Conlosh continues his crusade against the drug, traveling the world, and successfully passing similar legislation in numerous countries throughout South America, the Middle East, and Europe.
